Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Ford F-150, we'll be installing the TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack for full size pickups.The TracRac SR Truck Bed Ladder Rack is completely adjustable to fit your truck. It's great for hauling long loads like ladders, lumber, or PVC pipe.The adjustable load stops allow us to carry loads of different sizes. They just slide up and down the track here and tighten down with the black knob.They also feature a tie down slot to help further secure your load. A ladder rack is also adjustable. You just undo the knobs that allows you to slide the rack along the track.The side of our rack features tie down cleats that allow you to secure additional cargo. The Ladder Rack is made out of an aluminum construction so it's durable and lightweight and the weight capacity is 1250 pounds.The elliptical shape of our crossbars helps with aerodynamics reducing drag and wind noise. more

Now, we have a vast majority of our rack installed on our truck already, and we'll go ahead and cover some of the details. First off, this is a no-drill application. The black rails actually fit into the pre-existing stake pockets in the truck. We have our upright here, closest to the cab. You notice it sits in the outside track of a rail on the bed. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Ford F-250 Super Duty, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Pro2, this is going to be your truck bed mount in ladder rack.It's going to have a couple nice features with it. It's going to come with your four cleats on either side to tie things down, as well as your locking blocks on top. And also, the ability to mount your toolbox on top of the rail system.You'll see it will come with your extra two clamps and all your hardware to thread down the flat washers and bolts through the top of your toolbox. Very simple and easy to put on. It'll come with your extra set of clamps, two extra set of clamps, your bottom brackets, as well as your flat washer and bolt to go through your toolbox.It'll come with that extra raised rail, just like the track rack, and the extra pads. That way you can have a toolbox mounted on top of your TracRac system, and it's all going to look nice and neat, and you won't have to put any spacer blocks underneath.So now that you've seen the front one, let's see how part number TA37003, the TracRac Pro2, gets installed.First thing we're going to do is drop down our tailgate, and then we'll set it up into place. more

The built in over the cab extension provides additional support for extra long loads. Now that we have our ladder in place, I'll show you a few nice features about this. Plenty of places to wrap our strap around. This is just the generic cam buckle strap. You can strap to pretty much any point on here, and it's going to give you a nice solid sturdy place to strap. more

This has a carrying capacity of 450 pounds, and the ladder rack is adjustable up and down to accommodate different heights of trucks, and it can also be expanded up to accommodate different truck bed widths. That is done by loosening up the two bolts on the top here on both sides, making your adjustments and then re-tightening it down. We also have tie downs on both of our crossbars here, and that's to keep your loads together, and you can also use it to tie down your loads as well. Today, on our 2017 Ford F-150, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Xsporter Pro Adjustable Height Ladder Rack, part number TH500XT. This has a carrying capacity of 450 pounds, and it clamps onto your truck bed using the clamps provided. They also do have locks available, as well, so you can secure this to your truck bed. Now, to make it adjustable to varying truck bed widths, you can loosen up these two bolts at the top on both sides, and that'll actually widen it or narrow it, however which way you need. The bars themselves are aerodynamic in shape to cut down wind noise and drag while you're driving, and it does come with these stoppers to hold down your loads, whether it be ladder racks, lumber, or anything else you might be hauling. We have these fit dials here, which you would turn to the left to loosen them up on both sides. Lower them to whatever height you need. more

TracRac TracONE Ladder Racks Review - 2014 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2014 Ford F150 we're going to be taking a look at the TracRac Track 1 truck bed ladder rack, part number TA27000-01. Now these ladder racks are made of a strong, durable aluminum and it has a powder coat finish so it's going to resist corrosion. Both bars do feature a track and they also come with four supplied tie downs that you're going to move and lock down for making sure all your gear is secure. With the clamp on design it's going to be easy to install with no drilling and it's also going to fit many different truck applications. As you can see, we already have the front section installed and we'll go ahead and install the back one together. You're going to take your ladder rack and carefully put it onto your bed rails in the general area of where you're going to want it to sit. We're going to take our clamp with our T-plate on the bolt, and what I like to do is slide it in the channel it's going to be going in the bottom, and then slide it over and then we can get it loosely tightened by hand for now. more

Today, on this 2016 Ford F150, we're gong to be test fitting the Track Rack Track One Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number TA27000-01. This ladder rack has an eight hundred pound weight capacity. You can carry anything from ladders, to lumber, to con-well pipe, anything you can think of for the job site, as well as, kayaks or even other water sport carriers. Excuse me. You can tie them down by using these tie down points here, which you can loosen up and slide back and forth on the track rack on the top of the rack. It does have a nice aerodynamic shape on both bars, which is going to cut down your wind noise and drag while you're driving. It can be adjusted for varying truck bed widths by loosening up these two Allen head bolts on the top of the legs, and that's going to be for each of the legs. How it attaches to the truck bed, excuse me, is you're going to be using these two C-clamps here, and it's going to be the same for all feet. There is going to be no drilling required to actually install this. We are going to go ahead and show you how the last two go on. more

Today on this 2016 Ford F150 we're going to be test fitting the Thule Xsporter Pro adjustable height truck bed ladder rack, part number TH500XT. This rack does have a weight capacity of 450 pounds. It can carry anything from lumber, to ladders, to conduit pipe, whatever you may need for the job site as well as water sport carriers. You can tie them down using these adjustable tie downs by loosening up these knobs. You can slide them up and down to the t track to wherever you may need. This is constructed from a nice solid aluminum and it also has a nice aerodynamic shape on the bars to ensure there's going to be less wind noise and drag while you drive. It does fit varying truck bed widths by loosening up two allen head bolts on each leg and making your adjustments. It also is adjusted by height with these quick dial knobs, which you can see these large black knobs on each foot. more

TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2000 Ford F-150- Video
Today on this 2000 Ford F150, we're going to review the Track Rack Track One, Truck Bed Ladder Rack, part number TA27000-01. With our typical ladder in place, you can see how much it raises above the bed of the truck, and also, you get lots of clearance, probably about six inches or so, above the cab, in case your ladder went over the cab of the truck. I also want you to know, if you can put all your load on top of your ladder rack, it actually allows you full view out the back of your vehicle, if you don't have anything in the bed of your truck. With our typical ladder in place, you're not only limited to that. You can also use it for lumber, or anything else long, such as plastic piping that you can't keep in the bed of your truck. Starting from the top, you can see that it has a built-in tie-down point here, and on the other side of our ladder, as well. The straps that we're using do not come with the ladder rack. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2011 Ford F-150- Video
Today on this 2011 Ford F150 we're going to be test fitting the Thule Exporter Pro adjustable height truck bed ladder rack, part number TH500XT. a couple of the features about this ladder rack. It has these nice aerodynamic crossbars here which will actually cut down the wind drag and noise. It also has these adjustable load stops and tie down points for whatever accessories you may have up there. Just loosen it like so and they'll be able to move into whatever position you need. There's also a rubber strip in the T slot here where they sit which keeps out any dirt or grime while you're driving, as well as seals it up so it would also cut down the wind noise. These are attached to the truck bed by the feet here, and these 2 clamps. There's going to be 2 clamps per foot on all of them, which means this is a no drill installation, and all you're really going to need is a 7/32 Allen head bit. more

It's very easy to install, like I said, made out of a sturdy aluminum, you can adjust it to fit your bed. Right here, these two Allen bolts, if you want to just unloosen those, your bed is smaller, you can adjust it, and the width-wise, you have your tie-downs up here, up top there, also can move. We already have the clamps already down on three of them, I'm going to show you how to put on the last one. Open the bed here, what we have here is we have our clamps, our little metal pieces. more

Today on our 2016 Ford F-250, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Xsporter Pro ladder rack. That part number is TH500XT. We've already got our front ladder rack up and secure. We have one side of our back portion secured, so we're just going to show you this passenger side over here. The first thing we'll do is take our plain clamp here and we're just going to slide it just up under that lip and onto our ladder rack. We want it as close to the rack as we can get it and then we're going to take our wing nut here and fit that on top of our bolt. You may have to move that around a bit just to get that in the right spot. more

The built-in over-the-cab extension provides additional support for extra long loads. Now that we have our ladder in place, I'll show you a few nice features about this. Plenty of places to wrap our strap around. This is just a generic CAM buckle strap. You can strap to pretty much any point on here and it's going to give you a solid sturdy place to strap. As you can see down here, we have our welded on cleats. more

Rola Ladder Racks Review - 2015 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2015 Ford F-150 we're doing a test fit of the roller truck bed ladder rack. That part number is 59742. This ladder rack is designed to work with up to 400 pounds, and we've already got three of our four sides down and connected so we're just going to do our last two clamps over here on our passenger side in the rear. You're going to set the clamps down here. If we take a look at them we will bolt and then wing nut at the top here. What we'll do is we'll sit it around our tuck bed and then we'll start by taking down our bolt. That's going to push that piece just up so it's sitting up against the truck bed. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2005 Ford F-150- Video
Today in our 2005 F150, we're testing the Tulley Exporter Pro, the Truck Bed Ladder Rack and it has the capacity to hold up to 450 lbs. Part # for that is TH500XT. Now this is a great clap on style ladder rack, there easy to install. We also have this pad here that goes underneath the rack so that you won't damage your truck bed there. So we're going to go head and climb up in our bed. Now we do have 2 different types of claps, we have our back clap that's where the lock is going to slide into. more

It's going to have the eight hundred pound capacity, coming in a nice silver finish. It will be part number T A two seven zero zero zero dash zero one. As you can see we've already got the front one on and in place, with the brackets and mounting kit as well. We're going to show you how to put on this back one, and how it all looks and fits once it's installed. You're going to have eight of your c-clamps with your bolts, eight plates, and these are going to go up underneath the bed rail, and this piece will go on top the bed rail. And then you'll have your rubber pad that will go down, and it will especially be helpful if you don't have any kind of bed rail caps at all. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F250 Super Duty, we're going to be doing a test fit of the TracRac Pro 2. This is going to be your truck bed mounted ladder rack. It's going to have a couple of nice features with it. It's going to come with your 4 cleats on either side to tie things down as well as your locking blocks on top and also the ability to mount your toolbox on top of the rail system. You'll see it'll come with your extra 2 clamps and all your hardware to thread down the flat washers and bolts through the top of your toolbox. Very simple and easy to put on, it'll come with your extra set of clamps, 2 extra set of clamps, your bottom brackets as well as your flat washer and bolt to go through your toolbox. more

Today on our 2015 Ford F-250, we're going to be a test fit of the Thule Xsporter Pro. This is going to be your adjustable height ladder rack for the back of your vehicle. Now, what we're going to do, is we're going to put it up on the back of the vehicle. As you can see, we've already got one in place. We're going to put the other one up into place so you can see what it's going to look like once it's done, and how it's all assembled. The front is going to go on the same way as the back, just in a different place. It's going to be part number TH-500-XT. Let's go ahead and put this one up into place, and we'll show you how it goes. Once you get it up onto the back of the vehicle (or beforehand) you can place your rubber mats underneath to protect the bed. If you don't have a plastic rail, I'd suggest putting those down beforehand. more

Thule Ladder Racks Review - 2012 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty- Video
Today on our 2012 Ford F-250, we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule Exporter Pro. This is going to be your bed-mounted ladder rack system, with a 450 pound weight capacity, and be sturdy aluminum constructed. As you can see up top, you also get your stops for your cargo. Those are steel brackets with a twist knob to tighten then down. These are fully adjustable with height, and simply to do that, all you're going to do is get your measure for the top peak of your cab down to your bed. Then I'll tell you on the inside of these, if we can turn to that one right there, you'll see all the numbers here. That will be however tall it is. more

TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation on a 2008 Ford F-150- Video
Today a 2008 Ford F150 Super Crew Cab we're going to install part number TA21508-02-02. This is a tracrac SR sliding truck bed ladder rack with the over the cab extension. Now, first step to get our truck ready so we can install is to install our base rails. Base rail has a hole in it that lines up with the stake pockets that are in the truck. There are stake pockets here and there's one up towards the front here. However, on our truck there's no covers for the stake packets. more

TracRac Pro2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack Installation - 2013 Ford F-250- Video
Today on a 2013 Ford F-250 Super Duty, we're going to install part number TA37003. This is a TracRac Pro 2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack Systemn for Super Duty pick-ups. One thing about our TracRac here is this actually will fit for a variety of vehicles. So to start off we already have our bars put together; one good tip, really good while you put in together is actually get a measurement, from the inside edge where you going to roughly put it to the other side edge. Put that on the garage or floor, and then build it up to that measurement then you can go ahead and put it on your truck. With that out of the way, let's go ahead and put our pads on in the place. For these they may go underneath for TracRac. What I'm doing is I am actually putting on the edge of the pad right up to the edge of the rail here. We found out that on testing in that we have to scoot it back enough to get enough room for our clamps. So let's have a certain amount of space. So let's put one on each side. Let us go ahead put our first TracRac in to place. We got to passenger side sitting in the place. Well just squeeze the driver's side in just a little bit. Make sure it's square with the truck. Now and go ahead and put our clamps in the place. more
